CHINA WATCH A dazzling piece of news was on every Chinese newspaper’s headline today: China’s economy rose by 11.5% in the first half of 2007.

And as the economy explodes, all kinds of opportunity arises. A French company sees China’s economic potential in a different angle: the waste business. SUEZ Environment, French water and waste treatment service providers, plans to invest €100 million a year into China over the next five years to tap into its booming water and waste treatment business.
