Veris meter targets solar power market
Power and energy monitoring provider Veris Industries will showcase its meter for the solar market in San Francisco next month.
The E51 Power & Energy Meter will be on display at the Intersolar North America Show, set for July 12 through 14. The device is designed to provide proof of alternating current (AC) generation and net metering.
“We worked closely with solar power experts to develop a power and energy meter that meets the diverse need of the industry,” stated Marc Bowman, vice president of of energy & industrial business for Veris. “Meeting the needs from the integrator to the end user, the E51 monitors, logs, and provides the appropriate data needed to properly manage solar power distribution.”
The bi-directional E51 provides on-board diagnostics to speed setup and commissioning. Its data logging capabilities also meet California’s integration software reading requirements.
