Not really. Michael Jackson does terror for me every time he walks on TV. I think that started with Thriller.

This video is picking up some momentum on the web. It’s of a school teacher giving a lecture on climate change.

In his own words: “It makes Al Gore look like a sissy Polyanna with no guts, who sugar-coated the news.”

He’s right that there are some grim possibilities for the future. And also right that we need to take action now.

But come on – we know this. We want some sexy answers instead – not just let’s “take action”. It’s the in catch-phrase at the moment, and one that’s hard to beat out of politicians.
