Survey questions Prime Minister's ethical rating...

A coverage-hungry PR survey found:

A study by eBay-owned online shopping site, DoorOne.co.uk today revealed that a staggering 98% of Brits don’t regard UK Prime Minster Gordon Brown as a representative for ethical living.

Body Shop founder, Anita Roddick topped the DoorOne.co.uk poll, which revealed an intriguing top five ‘best representatives of ethical living and shopping’, featuring:

*        Anita Roddick
*        Bob Geldof
*        Stella McCartney
*        Bono
*        David Cameron

What about Swampy? Greenbang wonders if the survey respondents were all ageing hippies…

Maybe it was some chavs they interviewed for this bit though:

Respondents struggled to differentiate between common shopping terms such as ‘fair-trade’, ‘eco-friendly’ and ‘organic’.  In fact, over two-thirds of those asked were confused over the definition of ‘fair-trade’, with some 25% of those believing the term means the products are eco-friendly.
