- California-based eSolar has signed a $30 million (US) agreement to build up to 1,000 megawatts of solar thermal power plants in India over the next 10 years;

- SunEdison has closed on $20 million (US) in initial financing (PDF) for two Colorado projects: a 1.7-megawatt photovoltaic installation and an 8.2-megawatt utility-scale photovoltaic system;
