Iskraemeco helps pilot smart meters across Russia

Metering firm Iskraemeco is establishing a foothold in Russia, which is deploying smart meters and other technologies to comply with a regulatory framework that came into effect in 2009.

Pilot projects paving the way for future smart metering rollouts are currently on the way across Russia.

Among the cities in which Iskraemeco is working are Novokuzneck, Gubkinsk and Yaroslav. Novokuzneck has been using Iskraemeco electronic meters since 2010, with around 8.000 smart meters installed in multi-apartment buildings across the town.
