Echelon’s NES ANSI IP smart electricity meter can be switched on and configured either locally or remotely, and can also be used to communicate with and manage other NES meters in the neighborhood. The meter also supports move-in/move-out service management and pre-paid electricity metering. Echelon has seen its NES systems deployed by Russia’s PermEnergo and Danish utility SEAS-NVE, with well over 2 million meters shipped worldwide.
