- An audit conducted by Performeks LLC claims the Center for Global Development’s carbon monitoring project overestimated the carbon dioxide emissions of a Chinese power company by more than 80 million tonnes;
- Tesla Motors is now taking orders for its Model S all-electric family sedan, which has a range of about 300 miles per charge and carries a base price of $49.900;
- Hundreds of Marriott hotels around the world plan to switch off or dim non-essential lights for this year’s Earth Hour at 8:30 p.m. local time 28 March;
- Point Carbon reports that the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions fell by 2 percent in 2008.
