- EU plans to rework a programme that pays developing countries to reduce carbon emissions could put climate-change investments at risk, officials warn;
- Officials attending this week’s World Water Forum in Turkey have proposed a new certification standard for products made with “sustainable water”;
- Wales-based renewable energy firm Dulas plans to exhibit at London’s Green Homes Conference and Exhibition on 25 March;
- Nissan and regional development agency One North East have formed a partnership to explore the development of a zero-emissions mobility programme in the UK;
- Washington, DC, will host three carbon and cleantech conferences during the second week of April: CarbonTradeEx America, the 2009 Energy Conference and “Proposed Mandatory Greenhouse Gas Reporting Rule”;
- Mohawk Fine Papers new environmental calculator will now enable businesses to also compute what actions are needed to achieve carbon neutrality;
- The Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts plans to host a forum on “The Innovation Economy” on 2 June in Brussels.
