- The Mayor of London today pledged £3 million to develop 10 flagship Low Carbon Zones to cut carbon emissions, create jobs and slash energy bills in the capital;
- The Prince’s May Day Network, the UK’s largest group of businesses committed to taking action on climate change, came together today to report back on progress through a series of simultaneous events across the country, with a hub event led by His Royal Highness in central London;
- Ed Miliband, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, today called on UK business to take advantage of £100 million in new funding available to help companies become more energy efficient;
- Motorists should soon be able to get more information on which tyres cut their fuel consumption, which improve their safety and which are quieter, following a vote in the European Parliament’s industry committee last month;
- A long-standing mobility award in Austria is being opened up to international entrants this year.
