Ceramic Fuel Cells gets new chairman

Here’s a job move from a fuel cell company Greenbang hadn’t heard of before.

Ceramic Fuel Cells has appointed Mr Jeff Harding as deputy chairman.

Mr Harding, aged 61, has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. From 1995 to 2005 he was Managing Director of Pacific Hydro Limited. Pacific Hydro is Australia’s largest renewable energy developer with wind and hydro energy projects in Australia, Asia and Chile. During his tenure, Mr Harding oversaw the international expansion of the business with growth in market capitalisation from A$5 million to over A$750 million and an increase in profit after tax each year from 1996 to 2005, when the company was sold to IFM Renewable Energy.

Mr Harding resides in Europe and Australia and is currently a director of Renewable Energy Holdings Plc, an AIM-listed owner and operator of renewable energy technologies. Previously, he was deputy chair of the Australian Business Council for Sustainable Energy.
