Brazilian firm picks eMeter for smart meter data needs

Brazil’s ELO Sistemas Eletrônicos (ELO) will use eMeter Corporation’s EnergyIP platform to address the data management and integration requirements for its end-to-end smart meter solution for utilities.

ELO is developing a large-scale smart metering solution in response to Brazil’s push to replace up to 63 million electric meters in the country by 2021. ELO chose to offer a complete smart metering and information management solution for its utility customers to help increase automation, address non-technical loss and improve energy reliability and quality.
