Al Gore gets Peace Prize

Popular face of all things green, inconvenient and truthful, Al Gore, has picked up his Nobel Peace Prize.

Picking up the gong, The Grauniad says, Gore said:

“Without realizing it, we have begun to wage war on the Earth itself. Now, we and the Earth’s climate are locked in a relationship familiar to war planners: ‘Mutually assured destruction.’ It is time to make peace with the planet.”
