A second chance for Greenbang glory: Awards deadline extended

Good news, Greenbangers: we’ve had such an overwhelming last-minute response to our call for entries for our Greenbang 2011 Efficiency Awards, that we’re extending the deadline to the close of business on Friday, Oct. 28.

So if you thought you’d run out of time, now’s your chance to nominate your chosen best efficiency technology, project or person.

Our awards will go to the leading entries in 10 categories:

  • Data center technology
  • Cloud computing
  • Transport
  • Buildings
  • Communications/networking
  • Home efficiency
  • Energy technologies (ie, waste heat to energy, kinetic energy, etc.)
  • Public sector project
  • Person of the year
  • Company of the year

To enter, complete our online PDF entry form or — if you can’t fill in the online form — provide the required information in your own document and email it to Greenbang Managing Editor Shirley Siluk at shirley@theglobalview.com.  You’ll need to provide at least one case study demonstrating the efficiency of your entry, make a case for market need and include at least one third-party comment that validates your entry.

We’ll also need your company name, contact information and award category. The application fee — $400 US (£250, €290) — is payable online.
